Born and raised in Nigeria, Apostle A.O. Solomon grew up in a Muslim home, and later gave his life to Jesus Christ. Ever since he became a Christian, his life has been filled with great blessings and wonders. He is the President and senior pastor of the “The Shadow of the Almighty Ministries.” He also runs the church’s Prayer Line, which outreaches over 7,000 people every day. He is happily married and blessed with children. He has been in the ministry for about 17 years as a deliverance minister, a prophet, a motivator, and a sound teacher of the Word of God. He is the author of many books such as Captured by the Night, Defeating Marital Problems, Destroying the Pregnancy (Desire) of the Enemy and Operation Take Over The Day and Becoming a Winner in Life.
THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY MINISTRIES is an interdenominational ministry where children of God from all nationalities and background come together to lift up their voices of worship, praises, and prayers to GOD alone who is worthy. Under “THE SHADOW”, color, culture, race or nationality is no barrier to our fellowship with God. We believe that where a man invests his resources determines the level of returns he gets. We know that the greatest place to invest is in the soul of man that is why we spend and are spent for this course. We are the right Church for the right people. We are truly the Church for ALL Nations.
In this world of uncertainty where the anchor of hope is being dashed to pieces by the storms of life; at “THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY MINISTRIES”, the Word of God is the anchor that calms the storms of life. At “THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY MINISTRIES” we look to the future with confidence in Jesus Christ the divine Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a perfect and sinless life, was crucified on the cross of Calvary where he died for all our sins, and after three days, rose from the dead. According to the Holy Bible, the price of sin is death. Because Jesus died on the cross, he has made the ultimate sacrifice for humanity. He gave His life so that we all can live and receive eternal life, and a place in heaven through faith in him.
We have joy unspeakable under “GOD’S SHADOW” because the joy of the Lord is our strength. When all of life’s cares are weighing you down. When grieve is like a huge thunder and cloud in the sky overwhelms you, under ‘THE SHADOW’, joy comes in the morning. We’re on top of life’s challenges through God’s grace.
We are the Voice and the Hand that encourages people to change their lives with deliverance prayers, hope, comfort and peace. We believe in treating one another as brothers and sisters; building stronger families with Godly values, encouraging lost souls to reconcile in body and in spirit, with the Father and assisting every individual to attain their God given potential for the glory of God.
In The Shadow of the Almighty Ministries, we just don’t pray because of our battle with the devil, or just because of the pain of those around us. We pray because of the sweetness that comes from spending time with the father and from the glory that will be all God’s if we do everything he desires from us.
The vision for the Prayer line was given to Apostle Solomon in July 2008 as part of his assignment to be used by God to set free those who are under captivity and oppression of the enemy and powers of darkness by impacting them with the knowledge and tools they need to be free. In the cold winter days he would day and night passionately and relentlessly distribute the prayer line information cards to reach more people with the clear message:” Surely, There is hope for you! You can be free, you can be healed, you can be delivered, you can possess your possessions, and you can be debt free, ONLY IF YOU CAN PRAY! “
Why Pray? Prayer is a powerful key in the hands of every child of God to “Take over the day” (Job 38:12-13). Prayer will make your enemies turn back (Psalm 56:9). Prayer can change your story to glory. Come under the Shadow of the Almighty and experience a higher level, mountain top prophetic and deliverance prayer life.
Since then the Lord has increased the prayer line from just a handful of people when it started to thousands dialing in from around the globe to pray twice daily every day except Sunday morning, Sunday prayer line is only at night! According to His word, as His people prayed and called on His name, the Lord has faithfully given us testimonies of healing, deliverance, breakthroughs, salvation, new beginnings. Hopes have been restored, lives rebuilt. He has revived, refreshed and restored His people on a daily basis. (2 Chron. 7:14)
In September, 2012 the Lord expanded the reach of the Ministry and prayer line even more to take it to the uttermost part of the earth by establishing an Internet Radio Network for the Ministry,” The Shadow Radio”. Through this He removed all barriers and limitations, so people all over the world can connect and join in prayer, listen to uplifting messages and inspirational music around the clock.
In October 2012, the TV ministry was birthed also on the WORD NETWORK, where Apostle Solomon ministers the word of God weekly.
